Did you miss us? Well we’re back and we brought a couple friends for this one. Our pals Richard and Jeff from Houston join us as we try to examine the question: Has the Walt Disney Company built enough Resort Destinations? It has a couple tangents and it comes in at 1 hour 40 minutes, including the “relevant” music at the end.

Your hosts discuss WestFest and how someone used to only going to Walt Disney World would handle their first trip to Disneyland. This show is “only” 57 minutes.

Your hosts read some e-mails and spend some time on a “what if” scenario presented by a listener. The dining reservation topic also gets some more coverage. 1 hour and 23 minutes.

Continuing with the AA theme, your hosts ponder the demise of the AA (Audio Animatronic) attraction. This show may or may not end up having a companion video. Standard MiceCast fare to include adult beverages and adult language. This show is right short at 1 hour, 3 minutes.

Your hosts begin the show by trying to fathom why there are no Walt AA figures in Disney parks. It really didn’t take all that long to come to a conclusion. They also read a couple of listener e-mails and because of some interesting discussion on the boards, they revisit the subject from the previous show. Which becomes a little heated and leads to a couple of F-Bombs and some other words you can’t say on television. Running time is 1 hour 57 minutes.

A Miceage article by Kevin Yee (found here) prompts your hosts to discuss the theories and conclusions contained therein. It does make for a little spirited discussion and for the show to have a more respectable running time: 1 hour 33 minutes.

Continuing with their experimental ways on the show’s first anniversary, your hosts invite you along on a poker night. Richard is there and a fourth who is not really a Disney-type. This show is definitely PG-13 (maybe borderline R) which is about what you would expect when four friends get together for a night of cards. The two main topics of Disney discussion are Tom Sawyer’s Island and Paul Pressler. We are also continuing with the plus-sized episodes. This one clocks in at 2 hours, 12 minutes.

Your hosts read an e-mail that asks what an experienced WDW’er should look for on their very first trip to Walt’s Original. Then there is a half-hour tanget on some theme park operations. All of which gives you a 1 hour and 52 minute show.

Yet another show with an in-studio guest. DPN Forum Member and Former Cast Member Artjaro gives us a behind-the-scenes peek at Kilimanjaro Safaris. It would also be a good idea to have Google Maps or Google Earth handy, as Artjaro gives a bit of an aerial tour as well. All this and the usual MiceCast tangents and nonsense gives you a 1 hour and 56 minute show.

For the final show of 2006, your hosts present a WDW Trip Report. In an effort to not talk strictly about MouseFest, we have two people share their impressions of their first ever trip WDW. Brad from Bringing Disneyland Home and Chris from The Big D give us their take. Also, a new “feature” for MiceCast. The exit music will now have some sort of tie-in to stuff talked about on the show. This weeks exit music will also have a fun twist in it so make sure you listen to the whole thing. Oh yeah, our final show for 2006 clocks in at an all-time MiceCast high of 2 hours 10 minutes.
